LETTER: Enjoyable work with nice family
It was nice to see the photo in the Memory Lane section of Piggott’s when they were in West Street, Horsham
I worked for Piggott’s when they were on the corner of Bishopric and Springfield Road.
The three brothers, as in the photo, were Mr Ben (office), the son David was in the shop with me, Mr Sam did the delivering and Mr Eb was in the yard cutting glass with his son John who was in that department and he taught me to cut glass.
I really enjoyed this job as there was such a variety of things we sold.
They were such a nice family and employers.
