During November a new transmitter was switched on at the existing TV mast at Midhurst ahead of the official launch date set for December 9th.
A good signal is now available in the area which includes Horsham.

Hide AdAlthough listeners in West Sussex can already receive the programmes from Midhurst on channel 10B, on launch day a rescan of radio sets will be required by listeners down on the Sussex coast which currently broadcasts on channel 11B to bring the services in line with Midhurst and any other sites which may have been switched on by then.
Over the next few months more sites will be added giving blanket coverage across both East and West Sussex which will include relays in both Horsham and Crawley town centres.
Radio stations available include BBC Sussex, Heart Sussex and Capital.
A new national commercial multiplex operated by Sound Digital, will launch on channel 11A in Spring 2016.

In the Horsham area including the Sussex services there are up to six other multiplexes receivable using portable and roof top aerials depending on where you live.
Listeners in vehicles will get best reception by using a roof mounted DAB aerial.
