We have seen many letters in recent weeks regarding what drives the need for housing and how much that is driven by population increases.

Indeed the target for Horsham District has itself been influenced by ONS (Office of National Statistics) which relates to UK population growth.

Indeed, Nick Boles the Minister of Housing himself, said that ‘migrants account for almost half of the housing demand’ - and his figures suggested 100,000 new homes a year will be needed to accommodate them. The minister added: “We can’t go on like this.’’
