LETTER: Long-winded correspondence

As a regular reader and a sometimes contributor of ‘Letters to the Editor’ for the last 50 odd years, I have been concerned at the amount of really long- winded correspondence to cover a basic point which is being printed.
What's on.What's on.
What's on.

In years gone by you could enjoy and interact with the correspondence but now it’s in such great length and similar items being covered it has lost its impact and enjoyment.

If this is due to a use of computer emails rather than the written word it may need to be nipped in the bud. This I hope would enable more topics to be covered or even the big important happening in our area be given more variety, rather than regular correspondence from the same individuals.

Hoping my comments are useful and constructive as they are given with sincerity of a regular reader.
