We had a lovely surprise when St Mary’s School choir came to Lavinia House to sing for us.

It was great, they were so well behaved, and the teachers took charge quietly.

They sang harvest songs so well. It really makes your day to hear young voices raised in song. When you are older it makes you feel good.

We also had the pleasure to go to the Oxford Road School reunion.

Two boys who were born in the same road as me came up to me, Ron Ansell and his brother. It was so good.

Thanks to Daphne who came round with the invitations, and also helped with the refreshments.

There was a great draw and several people helped with this.

They worked very hard to make it nice for us.

Thank you everybody.
