LETTER: Show off the sculptures

Finally, now slowly life is beginning to be restored, I took this photo (above) of the landscape contractors planting a new tree in front of my home on Monday afternoon.
The owners of Montague Centre, The New River Company of London, will now have to endeavour and make a special effort to illuminate and showcase the four amazing Dame Elizabeth Frink ‘Desert head’ sculptures, since being given planning permission to change the shopping centre to a restaurant destination.

Having just returned from London this weekend, Burberry were showcasing Henry Moore sculptures in their latest fashion ads and showrooms.
Why cannot we showcase Dame Elizabeth Frink for Burberry in Worthing for their next fashion campaign?
Worthing has still not realised what wealth of sculpture lies stagnant in the town centre, in our beautiful Georgian listed square, Liverpool Terrace.

Hide AdPlease can the New River Company ‘wake up’ and make some effort to tidy up and remove the weeds surrounding the sculptures, and paint, clean and proudly illuminate the ‘Desert Heads’ in our square?
