LETTER: Sound troubles
The latest show I saw was Show Boat.
During the interval many people agreed with me – it was far too loud.
Unfortunately, I was the only complainant.
Another show was a ballet.
The music was no only too loud, but not synchronised with the dancers.

Hide AdQuite amusing – the crescendo up but the dancers down – except the audience had to inform the manager!
Does no one check beforehand?
It’s £14 a ticket, don’t forget – a lot of money to me.
Amanda O’Reilly deserves ten out of ten for giving us such a marvellous choice of films/shows. However, can she persuade the projectionist to turn down the volume?
Let’s hope someone will back me up before all the Connaught friends become deaf.
