LETTER: Support for gig boosts research
I would just like to say ‘Thank You’ for your insertion of my gig last week and I would just like to say thank you to all the people who attended and all who didn’t make it but donated instead.
The bands, Collector, Mike & the Criminals and Underhound were on top form and there was a great party atmosphere.
Also thanks to all who gave raffle prizes and the landlady Lyndsay Campbell for the use of her pub and Chelle on sound.
We have now beaten my target of £500 for Cancer Research...without running a competitive step!
