Driving through Albion Way last Sunday morning, I suffered the usual delays leading to the junction between Albion Way and the Guildford Road.

Returning an hour later, the traffic lights had stopped working but the traffic was flowing freely with no tailbacks.

Could this be the solution to this ongoing nuisance?
