Little Russets Nursery celebrates five years

On Friday parents were invited to a dinner party at Little Russets nursery where they were given the opportunity to sample some of the delicious hot meals that their children have been enjoying at lunch time whilst at Little Russets.

Little Russets lunches are prepared and cooked for them daily by Stooks Restaurant at Newbridge Nursery.

For their party celebration they also enjoyed a delicious birthday cake with their owl logo on which was designed and baked for them by Stooks’ chef Sarah Jane who took part in the BBC TV series The Great British Bake Off.

Tables were laid for a dinner party for 32 attendees with parents sitting next to their friends making more noise than their own children usually make at meal times! The evening was a huge success which ended with a surprise video presentation for the Owner, Carol Rawnsley, showing photos and videos of past and present days of Little Russets’ children which everyone watched whilst eating their birthday cake.

It was a late night for some people with the last parents leaving well after 12 o’clock!
