Littlehaven Infant School raise over £1,600 at Christmas fair

Littlehaven Infant School had their Christmas Fair and would like to thank all representatives of the local community for their support.

Eddie from Year 2 said “The best thing was I bought was a Ben 10 movie”.

Freya from Year 2 said “The Christmas Fair was amazing fun because we saw Father Christmas and we decorated biscuits”.

As a small school we were delighted to have raised over £1,600 on the night and all monies will be spent within the school for the children. Some of the money will be spent on ‘Donna’s Garden’ in memory of Donna Anderson who lost her battle with cancer last year.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following companies for providing support and prizes for the raffle : 4 tickets to Saracens v Harlequins – Wembley Stadium, Slinfold Golf Club – Round of Golf for 4, Lolas Cupcakes of London, Family of 4 tickets at Holmbush Farm (2014), Denbies Tour & Wine Tasting, Slinfold Golf Club – day pass to leisure facilities & afternoon tea, Bowers & Wilkins P3 Headphones (worth £140), Private Pod for 4 people at Brighton Wheel, Top to Toe beauty vouchers, K & T Gas Service - Boiler Service (worth £60), Family 4 to Fishers Farm, Family 4 to Newhaven Fort, Studio 2 Hair dressers, Wilkinsons Voucher, Strands - wet cut, Coral Dog races, £20 vouchers for Hornbrook - Hall & Woodhouse, Massage & Wellness - Massage, Horsham, Tandoori, World War 2 Flight from Washington (15 minutes), Beau-Belle Beauty voucher, Andrea Sarlo Photography – Portrait Session & desk portrait (worth £90), Smith & Western (voucher worth£40), Norfolk Arms (under new management) have donated many prizes which include; vouchers for dinner for 2, roast dinner for 2, tickets to New Years Eve Party, wine & Vodka, Cream Tea for Two at New House Farm Shop.

Without such wonderful support of people in the local community such events are increasingly difficult to organise.

Father Christmas also visited and children participated in making Christmas biscuits, picking a carrot for Rudolf, ‘whacking’ a soft toy Santa as he travelled down the chimney and quickly exhausted all the tombola stalls designed for the children.
