Looking for Mrs Straker

My name is Cathy Kawalek and I am an independent historian and researcher working on the topic of women’s work during the Great War in England. In the course of my research, I discovered the autobiography of Mrs. C S Peel. Her writing, work and opinions have become the focus of my exploration of this period of history.

I believe that Ms. Straker may be the granddaughter of Mrs. Peel. Unfortunately the address that I had for her on Udimore Rd. was a previous residence. The current occupant advises me that Ms. Straker moved to 21 The Old Hop Garden in Peasmarsh and that she was a regular letter contributor to local newspapers.

Do you know Ms. Straker or could you possibly forward me to someone who may know her? Do you accept ads/letters to locate people?

I live in New York and would appreciate any assistance you would be able to provide. I am trying to locate any original diaries that Mrs. Peel may have left with her heirs.
