Nature loses out
How sad that all the trees are being removed from the huge North Littlehampton site as part of the demolition plans getting ready for the development.
The huge poplar trees along Mill Lane are a Littlehampton landmark and are home to varied wildlife, including squirrels, owls and woodpeckers. I believe they have a preservation order on them but that seems to have been easily lifted for Persimmon Homes.
