Never had problems at Sea Road surgery

In all that time I have never had a problem getting an appointment with a doctor and have not encountered any hostile nor rude receptionists. I once arrived at the surgery with a cut head having walked into a scaffold pole and the nurse checked me over and cleaned up my head within a few minutes of my arrival.

My youngest son had been quite seriously ill while my doctor had been away on holiday. On his return from holiday, he called at our house totally unexpectedly to see how things were progressing. He has always been extremely supportive when I have needed his support.

There are always two sides to any story but in our experience the practice you describe in last week’s Observer (‘Flood of complaints at doctors’ surgery’) is not the one we have had dealings with over many, many years.
