Forget the National Gallery or the Tate Modern this Easter, Kavanagh’s Budgens in Billingshurst will play host to an Easter art extravaganza as pictures by Billingshurst Primary School Reception children will adorn the walls and windows.

Reception pupils have been invited to get creative and take part in an Easter colouring competition. Winners will be selected from each of the three Reception classes, and the leading artists will have the proud honour of displaying their work to the local community.

As a tasty incentive, the three winners from Scotland, Ireland and Wales class were each presented with a big chocolate Easter egg by Kavanagh’s Budgens.

Customers to the Store will be able to see the creativity of the school’s Reception pupils from 3rd to 22nd April 2014 whilst picking up their own Easter treats from a big selection of chocolate goodies, in fact Store Manager Morgan Rees estimates over 6,000 Easter eggs will be consumed from the store this Easter-time.
