Ready to run for children’s hospice

I am writing to ask your readers to support their local children’s hospice, Chestnut Tree House.

I am a patron of the charity and am delighted that Chestnut Tree House has been chosen as the official Local Charity Partner of the next Brighton Marathon on Sunday 12 April 2015. This is a wonderful opportunity to build awareness of Chestnut Tree House, recruit a large team of marathon runners and raise much-needed funds for children’s hospice care across Sussex.

Chestnut Tree House has a number of charity places available in the 2015 Brighton Marathon and they are also inviting runners who already have their own marathon place to join their Team 300.

You may not be a marathon runner yourself but you can still help to make the most of this wonderful opportunity by sharing the hospice’s good news and spreading the word. They are aiming to have a team of 300 runners – that’s one runner for every child currently being cared for by Chestnut Tree House. Can you help them reach their goal?

If you are thinking of running a marathon, I would urge you to get in touch with Chestnut Tree House straight away. It’s an incredible experience and Chestnut Tree House will help and support you every step of the way.

I have seen for myself the wonderful care Chestnut Tree House provides, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes across East and West Sussex so whether you run the Brighton Marathon or support the charity in a different way, your help will be very much appreciated.

Call the Chestnut Tree House Events Team today on 01903 706355 or visit the website www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk/brightonmarathon to find out more about being part of Team 300 and helping to continue providing hospice care to local sick children and their families.

Thank you for your support.
