The Our South Downs Schools Exhibition 2014 will encourage teachers from across the three counties to use Towner’s collection and the landscapes, wildlife and heritage of the South Downs National Park to inspire their pupils to create artwork. The project can be tailored across the entire curriculum including geography, history, science and English as well as art.

Sue Hervey, Learning Assistant at Towner, said: “We’re very excited to be running our annual schools exhibition with the South Downs National Park in 2014. Schools can get involved in a number of ways. It could involve just one class or year group or the entire school but every pupil that takes part will have their work exhibited at Towner in May.”
