I was very interested to read your article on March 12 entitled “Concerns moving mental health services away from the coast could limit accessibility”.

It appears from that article that the NHS is intending to move the Department of Psychiatry to an inshore destination.

May I suggest the following idea?

They could build an inpatient and outpatient facility north of Hailsham in proximity to the psychiatric facility which already exists there.

It could have its own workshops, laundry, market garden, and farm to help with healing and rehabilitation.

To ease access it could have a railway link to Hellingly station.

I have been trying to think of a name for this facility, and Hellingly Hospital seemed like a good name.

While I was thinking about it, I also had a great idea to make a circular object with spokes, and call it a wheel!
