Sainsbury’s offer free heart health checks

Sainsbury’s Horsham have teamed up with Flora pro.activ to offer customers a free Heartage check until October 14 (plus an 8 week retest period until December 9).

Customers will receive a: cholesterol test, blood glucose test, BMI reading, blood pressure test and tailored recommendations, plus their Heart Age. This will give them a more accurate picture of their heart health.

Pharmacy Manager, Jan Brice said: “The Heart Age online tool will give customers an indication of their actual heart age versus their real age.

“Independent studies have proven this message to be much more motivating to sustained lifestyle changes than biometric results alone.

“By providing our customers with information and advice on how to choose healthier products, we can help to reduce their cholesterol.”

A free test can be booked either in-store or by contacting the Pharmacy department on 01403 272241
