The party was well attended by parents and supporters who got to see displays including photos of the various activities that the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts have been up to this past year.

Also included was a video of the Explorer Scout trip to Kandersteg in Switzerland, as well as photos and videos from past camps and events over the last ninety five years.

Group Scout Leader Chris Sillett congratulated the Leaders and young members for their hard work and achievements over the last year.

He also thanked the Executive Committee for all their work behind the scenes supporting 1st Roffey Scout Group, and whose efforts have enabled the group to purchase a new minibus, as well as build an extension onto the headquarters for some much needed equipment storage space.

1st Roffey Scout Group have a good history of support and is why they’ve been active for ninety five years.

Scouting relies heavily on adult volunteers and there is always room for more people to get involved. Anyone wishing to help can commit as little or as much time as they like.
