Shelley Primary School dress up as classic story characters

The children enjoyed a thoroughly exciting week of book related activities based on this classic children’s story. They had opportunities to work with different teachers and friends from other classes on a range of activities including a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, acting out scenes from the story, making jam tarts and writing riddles. On World Book Day all children and staff came to school dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland. A celebration of the children’s work, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, is currently on display in Horsham Library until the end of the month.
