Shelters scorned

I HAVE had my first look at the new seafront shelters, and the following questions spring to mind:

- Will it always have the twisted scrap metal in it or will it have seats?

- Where is the back?

Many of us like to go to the seafront in the winter, watch the sea and shelter from the wind and rain.

Some bright spark has had the shelters demolished and is leaving us with two monstrosities, that provide no shelter from the elements. Very clever.

Where and when will this disastrous operation end?
