Showing strong support for Colin

IN common with every boat owner and operator I know at Littlehampton harbour, I am concerned and very disappointed at the apparent demise of the harbourmaster Colin Hitchcock.

There has been very little information released on the reasons for this situation, which has been a huge blow to all us mariners, social and commercial.

In the four years I have moored at Littlehampton, Colin has always been pro-active in promoting Littlehampton, and incredibly helpful to us all. Nothing has been too much trouble and any problem that was presented was promptly and efficiently dealt with and any requests for help or advice answered.

The permanent loss of Colin Hitchcock to the boating community of Littlehampton and to the many visiting boats who come back year after year as a result of his welcoming approach and assistance would be catastrophic and I would like to pledge my support in any way possible.
