Snow on Denne Hill in the 1950s

I write regarding the photo of boys sledging on Denne Hill which was published in the County Times.

I live in Canada, but happened to be visiting Horsham and saw this photo. I was born in Horsham in 1943 and emigrated in 1967.

The second boy on the left looks like me, but I am not certain. Your caption states photo taken in 1950s and I used to go to Denne Hill when there was enough snow.

Do any readers have a precise year for the photo? The boy who might be me looks about 11-13 years old.
