Solution is needed

I BELIEVE that the council is not listening to the wishes of the local residents. We do not want to take over the De La Warr Pavilion again, all we desire is a fair share of the programme to accommodate the local population.

As we pay quite a considerable amount of money towards the upkeep of our wonderful building, surely this is not too much to ask.

How does the DLWP calculate its attendance figures? I find it hard to believe that 200,000 visitors pass through the doors unless it is a short cut through to the seafront, or to use the toilet facilities.

Are they being counted on the way in as well as on the way out? Bexhill is a holiday resort, the two parties involved need to get together and thrash out a solution for the good of the town, the residents, holidaymakers and the De La Warr Pavilion itself.
