Local residents in St Helens Road have written, called and emailed East Sussex highways and Hastings council about the missing speed camera in the road. So far, no one has received a reply.

The camera seems to have permanently been removed from St Helens Road after a car hit.

Since the removal, cars use the road as a race track. One resident’s dog was killed by a speeding car that did not stop. There have also been many near misses.

Families use this road to visit the park. I am sure it won’t be long before there is another accident.

Residents of St Helen’s Road, please contact the council and East Sussex highways to ask for the reinstatement of the camera.
