Such great events
CONGRATULATIONS to Littlehampton Town Council and the Littlehampton Carnival committee for two special Christmas events in the town centre.
The Christmas lights switch-on/late shopping evening was as brilliant as the town’s illuminations, and the Winter Wonderland event staged by the carnival committee was equally wonderful. Both events were packed with people.
The Edwin James Festival Choir was pleased to have been involved in both events. We were given permission to collect for Help for Heroes at the switch-on event, and would like to thank everyone who supported this worthwhile charity, with donations of £96.30 in the hour we were singing.
Also, thank you to the owners of the Crown public house for refreshments after singing, and to their patrons for giving to Help for Heroes.
