Take stock of assets

HAVING read the correspondence in last week’s Gazette, it would appear there is a considerable groundswell of opinion against the current feverish developments of Courtwick and North Littlehampton.

Surely now is the time to take stock, and realise that Littlehampton has many natural assetes of the sea, river, surrounding countryside and access to the South Downs, and it is these aspects upon which the future of Littlehampton lies, through leisure and tourism.

The surrounding countryside must not be slabbed over and lost forever at a whim. The landscape must be treasured and appreciated.
