The law depends on who you are

WITHOUT any doubt, Chief Insp Rowe should be prosecuted and, if found guilty, dealt with in the appropriate way.

My son was a heroin addict and was never given any lee-way whatsoever.

He spent many months in prison.

This, I always thought, was just, as his crime was shoplifting and the shopkeepers have to be protected.

However, it seems that it depends who you are and what you are for the law to be upheld.

My son died back in 1999, and it has left a big void in my life.

He was never even given the chance of re-hab, just sent back to prison.
