Daffodils bloom in mid-December?

Let’s build another road.

Air more toxic than cigarettes?

Let’s build another road.

Bird-song, flowers, trees and bees?

Let’s build another road.

Bio-diversity? Who needs that?

Let’s build another road.

No money to care for those that need it?

Oh, build another road.

Frack gas, dig coal, burn oil for power,

And build another road.

Not bikes, nor trains, forget shanks’ pony,

Build another road.

Green belt, green lungs, clean air? No fear!

Just build another road.

A better vision, with less pollution?

No! Build another road.

Keep global warming below two degrees?

No! Build another road.

But that new road’s made more congestion!

So…let’s build another road!

But can’t we find another answer?

Because what is scaring me,

As the Paris Summit high-lighted,

There is no planet B.
