'Unholy alliance' puts voter off

IN reply to Dr James Walsh's letter (Gazette, May 27), who are the Liberal Democrats trying to kid?

Only a few days before the general election David Cameron said: 'Do you want to hear a joke? Two words, Nick Clegg'.

I think he is right.

The Conservatives may give you a referendum on political reform, then work with all their might against it and should they win the next election they will cast you off like dirty washing.

My prediction is that within 12 months unemployment will rise from its current figure of 2.5m to 3.5m or more.

I think you Liberal Democrats should have stood strong on your own as a party.

I certainly did not vote for this unholy alliance and will never vote Liberal again.
