Visitor’s sadness at fire and eventual demolition of Eastbourne hotel

I was very sad to see that the hotel I stayed in last November 22 has been demolished.

I must have the last picture of the pier taken from room 314 and I am still heartbroken at the loss of all my treasured possessions in the fire.

The people of Eastbourne were very kind in organising coats, hats and even shoes from charity shops as some had come down to breakfast in their slippers.

A sad end to what was supposed to be a break to the seaside.
