We don’t want your magazine, Rother!
I THINK Heidi Foster’s letter last week (July 27) about getting Rye events into the Rother Magazine is completely missing the point of what Rother residents want for their money.
What they don’t want is a back slapping, ego boosting piece of printed puffery whilst services are being cut.
What we have are roads that resemble ploughed fields in many places, green bins that they’re going to charge us for and numerous other cuts in services; but the great and good of Rother Council think it is OK to squander our money on recycling bin fodder.
Wake up Rother, we need services, not your ‘magazine’!
Ps. Exactly what does this magazine cost us per year, does anybody know?
