We missed band

We really enjoyed the Littlehampton Carnival procession – the bands, pompom girls, floats, etc were great, and the carnival royals’ float was simply fantastic!

But we were very disappointed not to hear the TLA Steel Band, which, according to the official programme and your newspaper, was due to play in the pedestrian precinct in High Street from 3.45pm-6pm. We arrived just after 5pm to find – nothing!

Our grandchildren are very keen to hear the band, so when and where will they be performing next, and why the change to the programme?
