Where there’s a wool, there’s a way
WE were delighted to see the excellent photographs and account (March 15, page 53) of the ‘Wooly Guru’ activities in Rye featuring knitted and crocheted articles hung around the town. These included a spider’s web and lamp post warmers.
A recent visit to friends in Brede coincided with this creative community venture celebrating International Women’s Day.
We would like to pass on our congratulations through your newspaper to the organisers of and contributors to this interesting event.
We are planning to circulate the ideas to various groups we belong to on the Isle of Wight and Blackheath, London.
