Wonderful to see it steaming along

Regarding the Flying Scotsman.

What a lovely sight seeing this train steaming through our countryside once again.

I was lucky enough to be part of a team that went with the train over to the USA when it was privately owned by Alan Pegler.

The American tracks were laid by an Englishman so the gauge was the same as over here, we went to Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston plus several other cities as well.

It was a trip of a lifetime.

I hope the train comes to a station near here.
