ST MARY’S: Services on the Second Sunday of Lent. 8am Holy Communion, 10am Eucharist, 6.30pm Lay-led Evensong. Our Lent course follows a programme alongside many other Sussex churches and meets at 3.30pm and 7.30pm every Thursday. You do not have to attend all sessions, but they do promise to be interesting and challenging. Further study of the Stations of the Cross continues every Tuesday at 5pm, a short time of mediation and prayer around images of Christ. On Wednesday at noon, a small group will meet in the church for Lenten Prayers. You would be most welcome to join them. On Monday at 9am, our prayer group also meets to set aside a quiet time in God’s presence. On Tuesday March 19 from 7.30pm, you are invited to Join Us for a drink at The Anchor. It’s an open invitation for anyone who find themselves alone with a dark evening stretching ahead. Come and find some friendly faces and company.
