I’m a resident in Langney near the Langney Shopping Centre.

I have watched and heard the building construction of the extension, believing that the new entrance and front facade would be a dramatic improvement to the tired and shabby entrance of before.

And for a while, the new streamlined and aesthetic grey curve of the exterior, looked impressive and gave an attractive entrance.

Sadly this appearance, has been destroyed by the fixture, of two massive Home Bargains signs attached to the front and side of the building.

The signs are crude, ugly and lack any connection to the architecture.

In fact these signs give the impression that the whole building is now about cheap bargains!

The subtle curve is disfigured by such poor taste and graphics.

I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels like this!
