Toilets are funded by Arun
I WRITE with reference to your recent front-page story concerning the closure of the toilets in Marine Park Gardens in Aldwick.
For clarity, the toilets in Aldwick that remain open do so now because they are now funded entirely by Arun District Council with no contributions from Aldwick Parish Council.
In fact Aldwick Parish Council unilaterally withdrew the annual grant that they had given without consultation or reference to us.
Aldwick residents need to ask their parish council why they made this decision.
