Uncertainty is damaging restaurant

On Friday, June 27, a friend and I went to have lunch in Marion's, the excellent restaurant in Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital.

Because of the complete lack of advertising or information as to what was available and for how long, we weren’t sure whether any hot meals would be available and why so, for how long.

Thankfully, the very helpful and efficient staff were able to serve us with our usual Friday fish and chips but neither the staff in the restaurant nor the hospital had any idea how long this situation would remain and the restaurant staff had no idea when their jobs would go.

It is a complete shambles and the trust should inform us all when it will close, not just tell us all via the Observer ‘watch out for further announcements’.

Because of the uncertainty, the restaurant is not as full as usual.
