IT’S WARM: This week has been beautifully warm with temperatures breaking records all over the south east. Waldron looks beautiful with crocuses popping everywhere, the snowdrops still out and even primroses beginning to show themselves, as the first daffs cautiously open their buds. As we test-run our t-shirts, it’s easy to imagine it’s actually spring, but we are warned of lower temperatures by the end of the week and winter having a sting in its tail. I’m making the most of the hints of Spring and getting out for long walks in the sun, long may it last.

The Friends of Waldron Churches will be holding their Annual General Meeting at All Saints on Friday March 8 starting at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome to hear what the Friends have been getting up to over the past year. The following Sunday (March 10) will be Lent and services will be held at St Bartholomew’s. Family Support Work (FSW) is asking us to bring items for breakfast for families in need. The following week’s collection will target items for lunch.
