Outdoor gym in Bognor Regis

Two pieces of fitness equipment will be placed on Queens Field between the basketball court and the copse.

The skier and horseback rider will complement the walker and the twister which have proved popular since they were put in West Park around Easter.

Aldwick Parish Council agreed to spend some 3,500 on the latest adult activity equipment.

Council chairman Carol Wiseman said: "I've been in contact with lots of residents of West Meads and I've been walking around the recreation ground asking people what they thought would be the best type of equipment.

"Residents also had the chance to say where it should go."

Arun District Council has agreed to install the outdoor gym and to maintain it.
