Outrage over thousands of extra homes

A shock suggestion that even more homes should be build in West Sussex during the next 20 years and almost a million ne whomes in the south east as a whole, has brought oturaged reaction from councillors and politicians.

The new report, inspired by the government, puts forward even higher growth alternatives for the south east than the draft plan produced by the South East England Regional Assembly, including a possible 46,000 a year across the region- an increase of more than 50 per cent on the figures included in the draft plan.
