Owls About Town, ran by Andy and Zsi Kendall, visited the group in a packed out Ferring Village Hall for an educational talk and interactive session with the birds.
David Bettiss, chairman of the Ferring Conservation Group, said: “I think it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening made all the better by seeing the owls fly down Ferring Village Hall.
“It really brought home how majestic these creatures really are.”
Nora Wilson, 89, of Mulberry Close, Ferring, spent part of the display holding an owl.
She said: “I thought it was marvellous. I liked their approach.”
