Pair jailed for post office robbery

Two robbers have been jailed today (Monday) for three-and-a-half years for raiding a post office.

Ismael Mansaray, 19, and a 17-year-old accomplice, who cannot be named for legal reasons, drove down from London to carry out the robbery at Ditchling Post Office on December 4.

But the pair were stopped by villagers who hemmed in their get-away car and rugby tackled one of them to the ground.

The duo pleaded guilty to the offences and were jailed by a judge at Hove Crown Court.
