Park Edgy Fest live music to go ahead

REVISED plans for the deferred Edgy Fest live music concert and HOPE08 mission in Egerton Park have now been approved by Sussex Police and the Rother licensing team.

Event organiser Cllr Michael Ensor said this week: "Following the disappointment of the EDGY FEST and the HOPE in the Park event on Whitsun weekend being cancelled, as reported in the Bexhill Observer on May 9, the HOPE08 committee in Bexhill have restructured the programme to overcome the security difficulties.

"On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29, June there will be a new EDGY FEST with a programme of music and celebration in Egerton Park.
