Party on the terrace
ON the Wednesday before William and Kate's big day, Leah Norman, head of catering, organised a terrace party for the pupils and students of St Mary's School and College.
The sun shone brightly for the street party style supper held on the school terrace, where 150 staff and pupils sat down to enjoy sandwiches, royal cupcakes, fruit kebabs and jelly.
Harry Hastings and staff from Hastings Direct attended the event as St Mary’s is this year’s chosen charity for the local insurance firm.
Face painting and dancing followed the tea and Harry Hastings played football with the children.
