RNLI NEWHAVEN: Late Summer Table Top Garage Sale is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 3pm at 60 Cairo Avenue, Peacehaven. Vivianne is hosting the sale and always has good quality items, toys, CDs, DVDs, pictures, books, clothes for sale. Everyone is welcome to take time to browse the eclectic items and bag a bargain. COFFEE MORNINGS: This week the coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue; Thursday, UKIP; Friday September 30, NSPCC.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.

BINGO: As well as monthly Friday Bingo evenings the Mayor will run Monthly Wednesday afternoon sessions. The next Wednesday afternoon session will be on October 12 at 2pm, and the next Friday evening session will be held on October 14 at 7pm both at Community House. There will be Bingo this evening, Friday.

THE DELL: The next car boot sale will be held on Sunday October 9 organised by MENCAP.

CINEMA: The next film at the Peacehaven cinema will be Golden Years on Wednesday October 19 at 7.30pm, Main Hall, Community House

SPECIAL OFFER: For all wrestling enthusiasts, the next spectacular at Peacehaven is on Saturday October 22 in aid of the Mayor’s local project fund. The first 40 tickets sold from the Information Office, Meridian Centre will be at a special introductory price of just £9 per adult and £8 for concessions, family tickets (two adults two children under 16 years) £34. Hurry this offer won’t last.

FUN CHARITY WALK: In aid of the Mayor of Peacehaven’s local charities. This event will take place on Friday October 7 at 10am, there will be a short and longer walk. If you are interested in joining in please contact [email protected] or 01273 585493 for just a £1 registration fee.

QUIZ: The next general knowledge quiz evening at Community House will be held on Friday September 30. Anyone wishing to enter a team of no more than eight players please contact [email protected]. HEARING RESOURCE: The East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre and Adult Social Care mobile unit for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people will be in the Meridian Centre Service Yard from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday. The bus is accessible to wheelchair users and representatives will be available to provide individual information and advice on all aspects of hearing loss.
