RECREATION GROUND: Please look out for the response form about the Playspace which will be delivered with your Peasmarsh Periodical in the next week, and try to fill it in and deliver it back to the letterbox at the Memorial Hall. The Recreation Ground Committee badly needs your help.

FILM NIGHT: Film Night on Saturday February 7 at the hall - ‘What we did on our holiday’ with David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly. Doors open at 6.45, film starts at 7.30; tickets cost £5 which includes refreshment. Tickets are available in advance from Hilary on 230205.

COMPUTER TRAINING: February Training from Rother Voluntary Action - Free training available to you at Peasmarsh Memorial Hall Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 18 of February 10 am to 12 pm “Beginners Guide to using a Tablet PC”. To book your place contact Sam Stone on 07722298692 email [email protected] - this is aimed at people who would like to be more proficient on their tablet PCs so if you are unemployed or economically inactive - stay at home parent, retired on maternity leave or unable to work or just want to come along to see what is going on then contact Sam.

BALBOA DANCE WORKSHOP: On Sunday March 1 there will be a Balboa Dance Workshop at the Memorial hall from 2 - 5pm. The workshop is designed to suit all levels, everyone welcome! To book a place please contact Leah on 01797 226041; the workshop costs £15 and is to raise funds for the Oliver Curd Trust.

JUMBLE SALE: On Saturday March 7 there will be a Jumble Sale at the hall from 10am - 12pm. If you have any jumble to donate it can be brought along to the hall between 6pm - 7 pm on Friday 6 March.

MARIE CURIE CANCER CARE: Several people in the Village are supporting this charity by giving up an hour of their time to help with a collection. Jempsons’ are kindly allowing this charity to collect outside their store on Friday March 6 and Saturday March 7 .There are two time slots not taken on Saturday March 7 - These time slots are 12noon to 1pm and 2pm to 3pm. If you feel you could give an hour of your time please contact Sue Cavilla Tel: 230431 for further details.

BEAVERS,CUBS AND SCOUTS: Although we are lucky enough to have Brownies and Guides in Peasmarsh we don’t have groups for Beavers, Cubs or Scouts. However these groups all run in Brede and have spaces at the moment for new members who would be very welcome. CHURCH SERVICES: The 10am service of Holy Eucharist will be at Peasmarsh church this Sunday. Please don’t forget the Family Service at Beckley church also this Sunday February 1 at 4pm when we shall say thank you to Father Bill Dolman for all his work as our Curate-in-Charge since Father Christopher retired. Everyone is welcome.
