Another excellent lunch was on offer at the hall on Monday. The Lunch Club is open to all, and if you haven’t booked in advance and suddenly decide you don’t want to cook they’ll surely find a meal for you. There is no lunch next week (Monday 28) as the students will be on half term holiday, but they will be back on November 4. The menu will be on display in the hall and on the notice board. A final reminder about the Christmas appeal from the charity Link to Hope - shoeboxes need to be ready by Sunday October 27 please.

This year the Village Christmas Fair will be back in the hall on the morning of Saturday December 7. The usual mulled wine (or coffee) and mince pies, Christmas carols with the choir, and lots of stalls we hope.

There will be no service at Peasmarsh church this Sunday; the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley.
